Payments and payouts are unavailable during closed testing. The process below describes how they will work once a payment partner is connected.

Where will the money be held?

Once payments are connected, a payment partner will collect the funds. They will remain within that partner’s payment infrastructure until the payout conditions are met, not on the traveller’s personal card.

ROSA helps participants agree on a delivery and record its stages. The platform is not a bank. Do not pay the traveller directly outside the app.

Information about the payment partner and the terms for holding funds will be available before payment.

02 / HOW IT WORKS

ROSA connects someone who needs to send an item with a traveller already going that way. Payment should be as clear as the arrangement itself.

  1. 01

    Agree on a reward

    The sender and traveller agree on the amount, route and handover details. The recipient also agrees to the plan.

  2. 02

    Review the full amount

    Before paying, check the reward, ROSA’s fee, currency and total. Each part must be shown separately.

  3. 03

    Confirm the handover

    Collection and delivery are confirmed with different codes. The recipient reports the item’s condition separately.

  4. 04

    Wait for the payout

    After the required confirmations and checks, the reward moves to the payout stage. The money may take additional time to reach the account.

03 / ROSA’S SERVICE FEE

A REWARD FOR THE TRAVELLER.

This example uses a fee of 7% of the traveller’s reward. The sender pays it on top for the platform’s service. Check the rate and total in the app before paying.

The fee is calculated on the delivery reward, not on the value of the item.

FOR SENDERS

If you’re
sending an item

Before paying, you see the reward, fee and total. Any change to the agreed amount requires a new agreement.

Payment is made through ROSA and the payment partner. The agreed reward will not be paid to the traveller before the necessary confirmations and checks.

FOR TRAVELLERS

If you’re
travelling

Agree on $50, and that is your reward. The sender pays ROSA’s fee separately.

  • Check the agreed reward.
  • Read the payout terms before accepting the item.

After delivery and checks, the reward moves to the payout stage.

04 / NO PRIVATE TRANSFERS

The agreement, payment and handover confirmations should be connected within ROSA. Do not agree to pay through third-party links or to a stranger’s personal card.

This makes it possible to consider the delivery status before payout. However, codes and event records do not guarantee protection against every risk.

05 / CONFIRMING THE HANDOVER

TWO CODES.
THREE IMPORTANT STAGES.

Two codes confirm collection and delivery. Checking the item’s condition is a separate stage, with no additional code.

  1. 01

    SENDER’S CODE

    The traveller collects the item

    At the meeting, the sender shows the item. After inspection, the sender creates a collection code and the traveller enters it during the handover.

  2. 02

    RECIPIENT’S CODE

    The item reaches the recipient

    The designated recipient inspects the item and creates a different code. The traveller enters this code at delivery. The collection code cannot be used here.

  3. 03

    CONDITION CHECK · NO NEW CODE

    The recipient confirms the condition

    After delivery, the recipient separately reports whether everything is fine, something is damaged or anything is missing. Reporting a problem blocks any payout that has not yet been made.

Use the code only at the actual handover. Do not share it in advance. Confirming delivery does not automatically confirm the item’s condition.

AFTER THE THREE STAGES

Checks → payout → funds received

Payment must be confirmed, the item must be in proper condition and there must be no open dispute. After the checks, payout and receipt of funds in the account are two separate stages.

06 / IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

LET’S RESOLVE IT FIRST.

The item hasn’t been collected

Cancel the delivery in the app and check the refund terms. Payment does not mean the traveller has already collected the item.

The traveller has the item

If delivery is not confirmed, payout does not begin. Contact support to agree on the next steps.

Delivered, but there’s a problem

The delivery record is preserved. Damage, missing contents or other disputes are reviewed separately. Any payout not yet made remains on hold pending review.

Codes and statuses help identify where the problem occurred. Add photos and a description of what happened to help support review the case.

07 / CURRENCY

ONE AGREEMENT.

ROSA is being built for international routes. Before confirming payment, the sender must see the currency and final amount. The traveller must see the currency and terms of their payout.

Calculations on this page are in US dollars. Before paying, check the currency and any conversion costs.
